Wii Fit Increasing Female Gamers

A few news sources are reporting that there has been a trend recently in the increase in female gamers. Although the majority of the hardcore gaming is still done by the typical male demographics, woman have surged in the casual gaming area.

The two main devices seeing more womanly affection is the Nintedo DS and the Wii. The large success of the Wii in female gaming can be attributed to games like Wii Fit.
